Team Culture & Values
Every
decision we make is based on a set of beliefs and
values. These values are shaped by those around us,
our own experience and many more. Just so is the
way groups behaves based on a set of values and to
a micro extend the team climate and the company
culture on a macro extend. This program
investigates the perception of team climate and
addresses the critical outcomes the team requires
to the current team climate.

A Ka Zo
Guaranteed to get you roaring with laughter. This
ice breaker puts everybody on the spot and allows
you to let the hair down a bit.
Intervention:
Clay Definition
This is a dynamic activity in expression and
indicating your self-perception and vision within
an environment. Individuals are given clay, which
they use to create a sculptor of how the perceive
themselves and their roles within their
environments. This is then explained by the
individuals and all this is then incorporated in a
better understanding and planning for the rest of
the team.
TREE
SWING ACTIVITY
This team effectiveness activity focuses on team
perception of themselves as well as what they
perceive other team s to think about them. By doing
this it creates a clear picture of company culture
and morale.
Helium Pole
The ultimate activity in group cohesion. Groups are
to put a thin pole down on the ground without ever
letting go of it, sounds easy doesn’t it? No teams
we know of have ever managed this on the first
attempt. (Reliability and trust, communication,
blame shifting)
Over The Bridge
In
the activity the group is split into two teams; a
design and a building team. The teams are split for
the first 30 min of the activity, with the building
team having all the building material, but having
to wait on the design team for instructions on what
to build. The design team have some samples of the
equipment and the task of designing a trailer. The
building team have brief idea of what needs to be
build but are instructed to follow instructions
form the design team.
After a 30 minute session, the two teams are
combined and the trailer needs to be build. However
only builders are allowed to touch building
material.
Briefed observers are used in both groups.
Bridge
Building
Construct a wooden bridge strong enough to cross a
small stream of water. Then use this bridge to
cross the stream and get back. This is all easy
enough, but building it and setting it up, while
only being allowed on one side of the stream.
(Planning, trust, team work)
In this activity planning, agility and some luck is
of the essence to complete the task at hand. Teams
are to cross an open section of ground without
touching the ground. They have some pieces of
building material to assist them in this
task.
Theatre Sports
A
brand new for teambuilding in South Africa. This
fun innovative experience will take every last drop
of initiative, where no other drop of initiative
has gone before.
Red
and Green
The ultimate in competition. Groups to split in
four smaller groups and compete in a card game,
called red and green. An eye opener as to the
effect of competition in groups.
Corporate
House
The
resemblance between building a company and building
a house is remarkable. The planning, environmental
scanning, delegation, specialization, constant
decision-making, reassessments and we can go on and
on and on. In this activity, teams are given the
task to build a house, the whole process of
developing and building is used as the facilitation
tool, to explain and facilitate company development
and strategic planning
All
activities are hosted by a crew of highly motivated
and professional personnel. Activities are
developed and presented in accordance with the
highest safety procedures and regulations and are
underwritten by Lloyds of London, ensuring all
participants a safe enjoyable experience not soon
to be forgotten.
